In this article we will teach you how to change eye color in Photoshop. We have received at least three hundred requests for an article on this topic. Open the image in Photoshop. Press "Z" on the keyboard to select the Zoom Tool. Then click on the image (more than once, if necessary) with the Zoom Tool selected so that the eyes become bigger. Select the Elliptical Marquee Tool from the Tool Bar on the left. Select both the eyes with the Elliptical Marquee Tool. If it goes a little bit outside of the eye, no need to worry about that. It will be fixed later. Go to Select, Modify, Feather... . Change Feather Radius to 10. Click on OK. Add a Black & White Adjustment Layer by clicking the "Create new fill or adjustment layer" button. Change the Preset to Green Filter. Select the Layer Mask Thumbnail of the Black & White Layer. Press "B" on the keyboard to select the Brush Tool. Take a Soft Black Brush (Size: 8px, Hardness: 0%) and paint with it the outside of the eye so that color does not come outside. This step requires some practice. You will improve with time. Click on "Create new fill or adjustment layer" button. Click on "Solid Color..." to add a Solid Color Adjustment Layer. Pick this color: #00acd5 in the Color Picker (Solid Color) window. Right click on the right half of the Solid Color Layer. In the menu that opens, click on "Create Clipping Mask". Change the Blending Mode for the layer from Normal to Color. Add a Curves Adjustment Layer by clicking on the "Create new fill or adjustment layer" button. Increase the contrast if necessary. Right click on the right half of the Curves Layer. In the menu that opens, click on "Create Clipping Mask". Use the Eye Dropper-Soft Brush combination carefully to perfect your image if necessary. If you have followed all the previous steps properly, you won't need this step. You are done. If you are having difficulty understanding any step, get in touch and we will help you. Practice this tutorial on at least 20 images to perfect your skill.
