During set up, Windows Hello creates a data representation from the sensor or reader. This data representation is not an image. This representation is encrypted before it is stored on your device. Windows Hello usage data is collected for service improvement, for fraud detection and prevention, and for some other relevant purposes. This data does not contain any personally identifiable information and is encrypted before transfer. The Windows Hello identification data can be removed from Settings, Accounts, Sign-in options, & (under Windows Hello) Remove.
