The full form of GIF is Graphics Interchange Format. People have requested me a lot to write a tutorial on this topic. In this post, I will teach you how to create beautiful GIFs in minutes. The following steps are applicable for Photoshop CS6. In newer versions, the steps will be almost same.
Create a folder in Desktop. Put all the images inside the folder. Open Adobe Photoshop. Go to File, Scripts, Load Files into Stack... . Select ‘Folder’. Then hit "Browse...". Choose the folder which you just created. Hit OK. Hit OK. Images will be loaded in separate layers. Go to Window, Timeline.
A new pane will pop up at the bottom. Click open the drop-down menu on the top-right of that pane and click on "Make Frames From Layers". Photoshop will make frames from the layers. Change the frame duration to 0.5 second for all the frames by opening the drop-down menu below each frame. You may choose the value(s) you like. Test the animation by clicking the "Play" button. Go to File, Save for Web... . Click on "Save...". File name: Enter a name. Format: Images Only. Settings: Default Settings. Click on "Save". Your GIF is done.
