In the US, 80% of people suffering from depression do not receive any treatment at all. People often end their lives when they fail to fight their depression. From morning to evening, most of us live under severe stress. Momentum is a chrome extension developed by a Canada-based start-up which is a wonderful piece of software built with three simple goals, one, to eliminate distraction, two, to provide inspiration, and three, to increase productivity. Momentum installation does not take much time as size is around 12 MB (version 0.92.2). Upon installation, you will be redirected to a page with an attractive background. The page will ask you to provide your name, email address, and password. You also have the option to stay logged out. After password submission, you will receive the account activation mail. Activate the account. You can access your settings from the gear icon at the bottom left of the modified new tab page. We will explore the settings later. The first thing you will notice on the modified new tab page is the captivating user interface. The time is shown in the center. Below that, you will see a personalized greeting followed by a question, "What is your main focus for today?" Momentum needs this information for setting the focus. We entered "happiness" and Momentum displayed that as the focus for the day. Below the day's focus, Momentum displays an inspiring quote, which is one of the many interesting features of the software. You can favorite or tweet the quote if you want. On the top right, Momentum displays weather information. The to do list can be accessed from the bottom right where you can add tasks to finish. On the bottom, beside the gear icon, you will see the image description. If you hover over the image description, you will see the photographer information along with the button to favorite the image. You can access the chrome's generic new tab page from the Links section at the top left. You can also add your own favorite links here. In the settings, you have options to customize important aspects of the extension, some options require an upgrade to the plus version. The Momentum Plus provides lots of customization options to personalize your experience and allows integration with widely-used task management apps like Trello.
